LIZ ELLIOTT - POZZUOLI 1944
3rd Infantry Division Clubmobile
Liz Elliott was from New York City. Liz served the 3rd Division from Rome to Austria in 1945. Here she sits on the back of the WC 51 Dodge 4x4 cargo truck her crew used as a Clubmobile to deliver doughnuts in Pozzuoli while visiting B Company of the 10th Engineers in mid-July 1944. The statue on the left has a companion on the other side of the truck off frame that became part of the decor at the crew's tent in Pozzuoli ("the Club House") where they bivouacked with the 3rd Division Quartermasters.
